The Royal House

The Royal Family of Tethyr has only recently assumed power. The King and Queen know very little of each other, but appear to have a very amenable relationship.

        • A Unicorn on the right facing inwards, with hooves holding the Crest. The Horn is touching the Crest (giving it support), while the right hoof is behind the Crest. The Unicorn’s tail is pressed against the banner to give the Unicorn support.
        • A Gold Dragon which curls under the Crest, the Crest resting in the folds of its stomach with all four paws grasping the base of the Crest

The Ducal House

As a Cormyrian noble house the Adamars were a respected, but minor house, hailing from the Cormyrian city of Suzail. Notable members of the family include Derrick Adamar, a respected commander within the Cormyrian army and Kheldan Adamar, who moved the family from Suzail to Tethyr to become a Duke of the Kingdom.

House Darkspear

The Ducal House

House Darkspear was formed from a third son of House Whitemantle who was renowned for his ability in command. His name had become eponymous with the use of a large black hafted spear and he named his family as such when granted land by his nephew following the goblin wars of the 1250’s.

The Ducal House

An old and well respected house hailing back to the ancient and glory filled days of Myth Drannor and the Cormanthyran Empire. The house has since fallen on hard times and now is but a shadow compared with the powerful elven lords of old. A new dawn seems to be ahead for the noble house, however.
